50,000 words! I will no longer be chained to nanowrimo progress, obsessing about what I need to get done by when, etc. I can stuff this sucker in a drawer at midnight, and not look at it until next November, thanks. I won't, of course, but I could.

So my Christmas fic is being read and prepared for posting, and I managed to get a new paragraph onto FAA 14 the other night, so other things are moving along at a clip as well. Hopefully Fade Away Again is drawing to a close, and soon I will be finished with it so that I can move along to other stories. Not, of course, the crackhead idea I mentioned to a few of you on Tuesday; that fic goes back into the vault of 'bad ideas that must never be written'.

Other than that, not a whole heck of a lot going on. And I'll be working late tonight. I'll probably write more later.

Oh, I just thought of something.

First, if you're a member of Spuffyluvin and have not voted in the poll, please, PLEASE go vote for something other than Halloween fic. Everyone is doing Halloween fic this month (a host of challenge sites, LJ communities, and personal LJ's) and we're all gonna be sick of reading the same 10 fics for the next 3 weeks. Just sayin'.

Also, I know some sweet person on my flist made this icon for a community, and offered it to share, but I do not remember who/where/when, so if you made it or know who did please let me know.

And...As I've been so terribly bored today, I went trolling in the flists of my flist. I do this periodically, just to see who's out there that I might like to keep up with, or who has said amusing things I might want to read more of in the future. So I added a few more random friends. Yay!

Remember last Friday, when I asked for drabble suggestions, and then wasn't really inspired to write anything? I'm not gonna do anything like that this week, since I know you guys still want your drabbles from last week...But, if you should happen to want to send me inspiring bits of stuff, don't hesitate. I'll get to them eventually.

I don't do artwork. Maybe I will learn someday, for I have ideas in that direction. Just no working knowledge of how to make them...Umm...Work.

So, anyway, when I see an icon I love, I tend to snag it. I am hugely indebted to everyone who makes the cute little buggers, and try to give credit when I can. And then, sometimes, I forget to upload them right away, or write down who did what, and I suddenly have no one to thank.

So, if you ever see one of your icons here, and you want to let me know you did that, drop me a line. If you see one someone made for you, or you know who made it, let me know. And, if you do artwork of any kind, even if it's not up here anywhere, I give you a huge thanks. You incredibly creative people are talented and inspiring.

Third, stand in awe of my ability to resist the muse, who says that one more WIP won't be any trouble to work on. Fourth, cheer the birthdays of Celeah and Justin, and wish them 'many happy returns of the day' if you know them.

Three days were not enough. I know this because my fingers are stiff from writing, and the entire rest of my body is stiff from moving a friend on Sunday. Need to work out more before I move myself.

Hope everyone takes the time to read & comment on my new story; it's something I toyed with the idea of for a few months, but I was going to wait to write it until other things were done. Then, all of the sudden on Saturday, when I was trying to write on FAA, the bug bit, and that was the end off that.

I'm having icon-crediting issues again. I found this, got distracted before I wrote down the creator's name, and now I can't find it again. If anyone recognizes your work, please let me know and I'll give credit. I love these little things, and I have the hardest time making them myself, so I like to make sure everyone knows who has the mad artwork talent! It's sure not me.

Other than frantic writing, and a day spent moving from MoCo to Woodley Park (if you don't know DC geography, it's about a 30/45-minute drive) in the snow and ice, nothing noteworthy happened this weekend. Hopefully the writing is noteworthy enough.
