Corporate Hy-jinks
Jan. 30th, 2007 10:04 amIt's been a day. Which is really saying something, since it's only 10:55 a.m..
I can't use Word on my computer; I can't print; we just got a new phone system, which I'm still not very good at using; they gave me a new telephone application today, in addition to the new phone I got yesterday; no one who covers me for breaks is trained on the new application yet; AND, for the third work-day in a row, I came in to find that all of my documents had been deleted, and all of my links to the internet were gone.
Anyone need a receptionist or secretary? Because, I'm seriously thinking of changing jobs right now.
In non-computer-related news, several attorneys in my office have decided that my duties as conference facilities scheduler are purely honorary, and have taken it upon themselves to just use any old room they want without notifying me. And THEN, when the office manager told them to notify me, they all decided to notify her instead.
GGRRRRR.
So, anyway; my usually boring, stress-free job is hyper-annoying right now.
