Frustration
Apr. 11th, 2007 10:44 amThe loss of my thumbtacks (I could have sworn I saw them last week...) has inhibited the further hanging of stuff in my room. Which means there's a lot of extra stuff on the floor. Also, my desk has become the de-facto storage space for things I'm not ready to sort out and put away correctly. The downstairs has no curtains yet, mainly due to a lack of curtain rods (and curtains to go on them), which makes it a little spooky at night.
As if that wasn't frustration enough, my muse is still on vacation. I've even tried editing a few things, hoping my brain will buckle down and get back into writing mode, but I can't seem to sit still long enough. I have what feels like a massive amount of WIP's (although thankfully only two are currently unfinished online), and absolutely no functional ability to work on them.
If anyone has suggestions for shocking the muse back into working, or improving concentration for periods when you lack inspiration, I'd love to hear them.
