I needed some cheering up anyway, so here we are: My not-quite-annual commentary on Eurovision contestant music videos. Part one, because in all likelyhood they won't all fit here, and I'm not quite done watching them all.
First, this is a good one. I know, I normally tag these things crap because they deserve it, but this one made my list for a reason other than being crap. This may be the first music video ever to advocate polyamory. Thoughts?
Switzerland:
Next, we have a more traditional pick. This is what I picture when I think of Eurovision videos. Bad production values, strange clothes, and random abstract imagery. I want to give you my soul, I'm a hawk that swims. I have no clue. Albania: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bpOngv520I
And finally, this one. For some reason, it seems to take place in the 70's. I think I'm a stupid American on this one, because I have no earthly clue what's going on here, although it is pretty amusing. Portugal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptOg2zvhB3Q
