Usually at this time of day (about quarter to 5) on a work day I am frantically typing something, then frantically e-mailing it to myself at home for more work later.  Since I have done no Nanowrimo work today, and the first draft of the Christmas Spuffy is DONE (SQUEE!!!), I have no typing frantically to do.  So I thought I'd say hi to you guys.  *waves*

BTW, anyone wanting a preview of the Christmas-ness (only slightly naughty, more adult humor and punnage) I am freely giving previews in exchange for input.  Otherwise, you must wait three more weeks!  So there!

*bats eyes*

Okay, so I'm going home now.  Latah.

We have this gem: A model scrotum and testicles, made from 'lifelike synthetic human tissue', to teach testicular self exams.

Useful, yes.  Kinda weird and gross, hell yes.  It amuses me greatly.

I wish I'd seen these during Blogahon, they'd have kept me ranting for hours.

The first is England's Entry, the second Switzerland's. Which is more awful? You decide. As a Buffy fan, though, I have a special place in my heart for the Swiss Vid.

Perhaps going without sleep makes me cynical.  I was just reading a news article, where evidently a 'peace officer' with the SPCA was taking a walk on the beach, and stumbled across an alligator.  In a pillowcase, clearly labeled 'alligator'.  With instructions asking that someone find it a good home.

It seems to me like someone in the family made a stupid pet-purchase, and the nice officer bailed them out.  Or, that could be the tired talking.

Guess it's time for the naked dance!

I enjoy writing, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I wish I had another creative pursuit that attracted me as much.  Say, weaving, or tap dancing, or even baking.  I mean, bakers don't get baker's block, do they?  That said, I managed to write a couple of paragraphs last night, which I consider a huge success.  Not sure how good they are, but at least they're words typed into the computer, which is more than I had.

And nothing is being helped by my rampant paranoia.  It's gotta be two years or more since I went through a bout like this; where I'm just convinced that the world is against me, in the evil-plotting way.  Oh, and by the way, every conversation in a given room, where I hear the word 'she' spoken in a low voice...It's about me, and how much I suck.  Fun, right?  The best thing for it is medication, but there are other issues keeping me off meds right now, so I'm going to have to work it out with diet changes and meditation.  There are herbal remedies, but I'm alergic to many of them.

I'm very excited to see Friday around the corner; some weeks, five days just seem like too many to work.
