Writing is My Time Killer
Jun. 18th, 2007 10:31 amChapter 13 of FAA is close to finished, as is Chapter 1 of the sequel, now with a tentative title other than 'FAA Sequel'. So, a lot got done, but I still have nothing to post for a few days except for Chapter 5 of What If 1, which should pass beta standards by Wednesday or Thursday and be ready for public consumption. I've been working on another chapter of that, as well, but I'm still a bit lost on how to write the Season 1 Scoobies in this new world, and it's slowing me down.
I've surprised myself with how much I'm enjoying writing Dru in What If 1, and I'm wondering about other alternate universes that would feature her heavily, so I could play with her a little more. We'll see what my brain comes up with.
My Sparla fic came to a crashing halt in creativity a few weeks ago, and I can't seem to do anything with it other than stare at the blinking cursor. I think it's because that one is going to require some hefty historical research soon, and I'm mentally putting it off until I've completed the research on Madrid I haven't done yet.
I am still planning on posting Part 2 of "The Office Hellmouth" at some point, but with one thing and another I just haven't been working on it. Most of my attention is focused on FAA, now that the words are actually coming.
So, there it is, all the news that's fit to print as far as writing goes. It makes me very happy that I waited to start posting most of these things; if they were all WIP's, I think I'd die.
