I had a recruiter approach me because she thought I would be a good fit for a job she had open.  She never really said why she thought I would be a good fit, but I agreed to go on the interview.  I haven't turned down an interview yet; you never know, you might really like someone or some job that you wouldn't expect to on paper, so I go to all of them.

So, as she's prepping me for the interview, she asks me why I want the job, as in 'tell me what you would tell them'.  And I had no answer.  I don't want to work in the financial world, I have no good concept of what a hedge fund even is, other than that they make lots of cash without making or doing anything...She never even told me how big the office is, how am I supposed to know if I'd be comfortable managing it?  So, between now and sometime tomorrow afternoon, I have to come up with a better reason for being in that room than 'you pay a lot' and 'I need interview practice'.

Any thoughts?
