willow_25 | The Weekend Update

This weekend I had sharoncs and her husband in town from DC.

We had dinner and drinks after I retrieved them from the airport on Friday, then Saturday we went to a small music festival supported by a local radio station. It was a lot of fun, and even though the weathermen and national weather service kept saying that rain and lightening were imminent, it was just a little cloudy, which was actually nice because it kept the temp down. We played card games between bands, and ate junk food, and took pictures, and all in all it was a lot of fun.

Saturday night when we got back home I checked LJ quickly before we went out again, and saw that I had completely forgotten about Where I Live day on wild-photos. It was even before midnight, I could have posted, but I was tired and we were going to get more food and drink.

So, Sunday I woke up nauseous; I can't quite figure out if it was mild heatstroke, or if I ate something that didn't agree with me. I didn't eat or drink much all day, and after I dropped my guests back at LaGuardia I took a nap that lasted until around dinner time. So, I never did post anything, because I couldn't pay attention long enough to find the necessary cords, let alone do anything with them. Still not feeling great, but I was givin specific instructions before I left on Friday that I was not to call out today, because bosslady had an important meeting and might need me to back her up with research or printing reports. I'm hoping I can get to leave early, but we'll see how it goes.
