Not feeling like I have much to say at the moment, but wanted to touch base.  I was out of work sick Thursday and Friday; I thought I had the flu, and as much as I hate to do so, I went to the doctor, because I had to know if I was contagious for a family party on Saturday.  Turns out I had actual 'hay fever', as in, an allergy attack that gave me a fever, chills, muscle aches, etc..  I had no clue allergies could do that.  So, ragweed/goldenrod is evil, and I am on allergy meds until after the first frost - whenever that is.

Party Saturday was fun, although I didn't have as much energy to be social and actually think enough to participate in conversations.  I spent a lot of the time playing with my niece and the other little kids.  I stayed overnight with my sister-in-law at her mom's house after, and spent Sunday with their family.  My bro married into good people.

Yesterday work was insane, and it promises to be worse today because now bosslady is sick.  Evidently, bossman was out while I was, with an actual virus, and spread the wealth.  So, yeah, I better go bury myself in paperwork, etc.  TTYL.

Oh, PS; WEDDING SATURDAY!!!  I don't believe happynonoplace  is getting married.  So weird.  Except, when you see them together, it is significantly less weird and more awesome.

Yep -- I've had that very same hay fever before, and I found out about it the same way you did. I had an attack this fall, and it actually masked a real illness: turns out I was getting strep throat and didn't realize it. The perfect storm of ick!
