willow_25Seriously; I'm not even going to put the furniture I'm abandoning up for free giveaway. Once I find a place, I'm not moving again until I can buy; this moving thing sucks.
I had a complete and utter mental breakdown at the front desk today; frustrations over my current living situation, finding a new living situation, the possibility of giving Cheyenne away, and the lack of anyone to really talk to about all that crap was lit on fire when my roommate tried to put a positive spin on giving the cat away, that at least I wouldn't have to spend so much money on litter, food, toys, etc.. So yes, I blew a gasket. The only reason I have this cat is because I couldn't bear for her former owner to put her in the pound. Putting her there myself, as much as I joke about it, would be rough.
My roommate has since apologized, and offered to help me pawn the cat off on someone we know so I don't have to do the humane society bit, but I still haven't really calmed down. Figured I should write about it and get it off my chest, so potential new roommates don't remember me as 'that crazy girl who cried for no reason'.
