I cannot settle today.  I've been skimming stories, opening documents and closing them, hanging up the phone as it rings because I can't wait for it to connect...No fun.  I wish it was just that I'd given myself caffeine gitters, or that I was anxious about serious stuff, but I'm really not.  Just twitchy.  While I'm typing this, I'm spinning my rotating office chair back and forth 180 degrees.

My parents lost their dog this week - Not really a family pet, as my brother and I were well out of the house before the pooch in question came to live, but she was a sweet dog that I had fun visiting, and so I was doubly sad.  I'll miss her for myself, and mostly because my parents are both utterly crushed.

Nanowrimo: A little behind in word count, because of today's issues.  Other than that, it's going well.  Better luck tomorrow.

Sorry about the dog ... only someone who's had a long term pet knows how much we get attached to them.
