In other news, I am almost entirely moved into my parent's house, with many of my things in storage, which is weird. It kind of feels like a big vacation. Like, in a few weeks I'm just gonna run off back to DC and not see the 'rents again for months. I'd hate to be around me when reality sets in.
My new DVD player works brilliantly, though of course it's all fixed so that I can't run cable through it, making the setup useless as a replacement for DVR. I'll have to work on that in the near to mid future. I just spent the morning catching up on 6 days of LJ and watching Buffy S1 eps 5-8, though, so I'll probably wait until tomorrow or the next day to fiddle with wires. My Dad and I are already rubbing one another wrong, so I'm not gonna stress myself out by making that mess worse. Not until Wednesday, anyway.
