If It's the Apocalypse, It Must Be Tuesday
Mar. 6th, 2007 01:36 pmWhy, God; why?
I wasn't here 2 hours before my boss forced me into her office to yell at me for 45 minutes. I got so upset, I made an appointment with the two guys who work over her, to tell them that she'd reported that they had concerns, and I wanted to get more detailed feedback directly from them, so I could improve myself. At which point they both looked at me like I was insane, and told me what a great job I was doing, and how they both appreciated all of my hard work for the company. One of them actually said "In 3 years, I have never had anything but good to say about you". The other said there was a concern, but it was so minor that even he thought it was silly to worry about it, and it was his concern.
In other words, I spent almost an hour getting screamed at and belittled because my boss felt like doing it, not because I did anything at all wrong.
