willow_25My laptop came today. *Squeee*. A couple of issues, but nothing too terrible, once I finished snitting. First, the battery won't stay in. Meaning, I either need to have it repaired, or tape the bottom like a big ol' geek. Which, not a problem, 'cause I am one. Second, it's refurbished, and came with instructions to reformat the computer and re-install all the software, so it's been doing that ever since it arrived, and I haven't actually gotten to use it yet.
In an ironic twist of fate, I now own exactly the same laptop as my roommate's meddlsome mom.
As I was writing, the computer restarted, and now I get to actually use it! Weird operating two computers at once. I have one on my desk, and the other on my bed, where I plugged it in to charge, with a rolling desk chair to get back and forth. I heart my little office area.
Time to go play with other things, talk at y'all later!
