* Read a cheesy romance novel from cover to cover.

* Cleaned up my tags, because they were getting a little ridiculous.

* Arranged the gang for Britpop(!) dance night at The Black Cat tomorrow.  Most people can make it, so that's exciting.  I'll miss those who can't.

* Wrote a new script for answering phones.  We've been off-script for a little over a year, but I guess the higher ups feel it isn't working out, so here we are getting a script again.  I feel a little like a scab.  I just have to keep reminding myself that we're not recording the script, so its okay. * is paranoid*

* Updated the phone list for a whopping FOURTH time this week.  Had to, because some moron messed with my margins.  Sent it off to be printed yet again.

* Revised the how-to-do-my-job-for-dummies book, to incorporate new stuff I've been working on over the last few days.

* Finally found some stuff at Borders to spend my Christmas gift certificate on.  Still have money on the card, too.  I bought a HUGE coffee table book that I've been wanting ever since it came out, for $3!  Totally worth carrying/packing it for that price.

* Turned over my Facilities forms to the Office Administrator's gnome assistant.  Which is, I believe, the last part of Facilities I was in charge of, not having to do with Conferences.

Probably more later, we'll see.  I'm kind of tired, for not having done much.

What romance? Tell me a little about it -- I've written cheesy romances, after all. :-)

It's part of a series about a family in Edwardian England. One of my favorite series, because the writing is good, and the plots border on ridiculous. The one I'm currently reading, the 4th book, involves a kidnapping by a Chinese warlord! Gotta love the absurdity!

I can live with ridiculous plots, if the characterization is good and the story is fun. A Chinese warlord? I don't believe Edwardian England had direct contact with the Chinese all that much ...
