Happy New Year! (A Little Early)

It's coming up on time to leave the office, so I thought I'd send a wave to everyone, and wish all of you a happy New Year!  I hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and comfortable 2008; and that everyone who had a special wish this holiday season had it fulfilled.

Since I'm feeling a bit less dead today, I'll even offer a little New Year's gift, should you choose to accept it.  So, this is not only best wishes for the New Year, but a Drabble Call!!!

Just respond before Midnight, ask for whatever you want.  Any fic, any fandom, any pairing.  Whatever.  (Except, I do honor the wishes of novelists who don't want others mucking about with their characters.  No matter how much part of me still wants to write Anne Rice fic ten years later.)  Consider it a final wish in 2007, in case you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas.  

I'm not necessarily promising to finish all of them, but I will do as many as I can.
