I have about half my expected word count for the day, and I hate what I have.  Need to either a) trash and start over, so I don't have to spend a month with this crap, b) learn to like it but quick.

Well, you're just starting -- now's the time to make changes.

I've done about 1,500 words. I've already found places where I know I'll have to make changes, because I did an information dump early on. But, I think I'll just forge on and come back to it later -- 50,000 in 30 days is *so* difficult, I'll never make it if I go back every time I don't like something.

Learn to like it. It's all about word count, from what everyone has told me. Next month you can worry about editing and fixing.
