I'm feeling much better, although the swelling is not completely gone.  I skipped out on my TV last night and let the DVR pick it up, so I have nothing interesting to say about any of the new shows.  The most interesting thing about today in general is that time has slowed to the top speed of molasses in Maine this time of year.  And that is SO not interesting.

I was re-reading FAA the other day, because I'm desparately trying to finish it in a timely manner, and I need inspiration.  Have you ever gone back and read something you wrote, and couldn't quite believe you wrote that?  I was well into chapter 11 (which had a couple of issues I just noticed, and I need to repost it here) and I was like...'hold on, I wrote that?  Que?'  LOL.  It was a little surreal.  Or, I was woozy.

But, I am working on stuff, even though you're not seeing any new fiction here.  Hopefully by Friday I'll be in shape again.  If not, I'm gonna be mad.  Perhaps a drabble call is in order?  I'll have to think about it.

EDIT: F-ing asshat messed with the DVR so Heroes didn't record.  ARGH!!!  Off to watch at NBC.com.  Stupid ass hat.

When I read my old stuff that sucks, I don't have any problem believing a younger me wrote it. Every now and then (and this is going to sound horribly egotistical) I read something of mine after a long time and think, "Wow -- this is really good! Is it possible I actually wrote it?" It can be surreal, but it helps when I get stuck on a current project to know I can actually complete something.
